About this product
Senator Robert F. Kennedy is greeted with McCarthy banners as he stretches to greet followers at rally in Camden's Convention Hall on April 1, 1968. Bobby, as the jubilant crowd called him, had brought with him the Kennedy Magic first introduced to South Jersey residents by his brother, John, from the same spot on June 22, 1960. Police estimated attendance at nearly 7,000.
"Let me through! Let me touch him!" came the shouts as the New York Senator made his first appearance in the state since he announced he was running for the Democratic nomination.
